The Daily Mail originally ran a piece claiming that the Berlin Wall memorial remembered those trying to “flee Hitler”. Obviously, after the internet laughed solidly for ten minutes, they changed “Hitler” to “East Berlin” and “Communism” - but, erm, forgot to change references in the sidebar. You’d think, given their enthusiastic support for fascists in the 1930s, the Mail could at least get this one right…
